Latin American Ensemble

 

 I. CLASS CONTENT
The Latin American Ensemble at BTWHSPVA strives to prepare aspiring young vocalists and instrumentalists for admission to a college or university with the needed artistic and technical tools for success in the Latin/Latin Jazz genre.
It is of paramount import that each student develop a set of skills in music reading, comprehension, artistry, and performance.
II. MATERIALS REQUIRED
All music is to be brought to rehearsal without exception
Pencil/ Erasers
Optional -but highly recommended:
Finale Note Pad (free application: www.codamusic.com)
Musictheory.net (free download or online use)
ASSESMENT,  ATTENDANCE, and GRADING
Please refer to home page for DISD’s attendance policy.
In addition, please be advised that an unexcused absence to a performance, whether on or off campus, will result in a zero for the corresponding six week period. By auditioning for the LAE, and enrolling in our roster, all students accept this policy.
